From Stakeholder Idea to Shipped Work

A big request lands. The adrenaline is real. Shipping it is mostly less drama than discipline: align, sequence, communicate, repeat.

A stakeholder drops a big idea in Slack. Is this exciting, or is this chaos? Usually both. I let the spike pass, then turn the ask into something smaller and truer: what are we actually shipping, for whom, and by when?

Execution gets romanticized, but most of it is unglamorous structure. Name owners. Write the scope down. Break the work into checkpoints that can survive reality. Momentum is not speed; momentum is finishing the next concrete thing without losing the plot.

Problems always show up. The move is not to avoid them, it is to surface them while they are still cheap. Say what changed. Say what it affects. Say what happens next. Projects do not fail because one thing went wrong; they fail when everyone stops sharing the truth in time.
